Always do your homework when directly approaching and selecting any furniture manufacturer for bespoke luxury pieces.  Whilst we are absolutely confident that we have no competition from a quality, design and reliability perspective, the fact remains that there are other manufacturers out there that either cannot compete with our design and quality standards or simply do not specialise in luxury furniture.  In the latter instance, such manufacturers would instead specialise in the manufacture of mass production perspex accessories, displays and low cost chairs / tables using both cheaper and lower grade extruded materials or polycarbonates.  Unfortunately for many customers this results in an end product which is not crystal clear, is thinner and therefore brittle and highly prone to scratching and fading.
